Finally an update!

Josiah here at 9 months and loving the dishwasher!
Noah heading off for his first day of school.

I love this picture of Grace! Don't worry the gun is not real. She is all girl with her baby in arm and ready to go deer hunting in the woods to get herself a deer as she would say. I think our hike in the woods didn't last long with carrying both baby and gun. Baby won and the gun ended up on the ground!

Climbing on whatever they can find that would make for a good jump!

Noah practicing his hunting skills. Again the gun is not real! I think he got a turkey too!
Viking fan!

Josiah's first teething bisquit and for all you Mom's who know and remember...those things are a real mess!

Noah and Grace at Lester River where we went for a hike. One thing we love about Duluth is this is what is right in our neighborhood. Doesn't take long to get into the woods and soak in a bit of nature. Good for the soul!

Grace dressing up and putting make up on. I told her she could use my lip gloss and my blush brush and then I came back to discover she found the mascara. Waterproof I might add and that took a good scrubbing. After that she said she wouldn't do that again.

Camping Trip

We went on a camping trip with a bunch of families to Luther Dell Bible Camp and had a great time. We had our own little cabin on big boy lake and meals provided so it was easy to go with three children. Had a great time! Went on a family pontoon ride and just wheeled Josiah and stroller right on the boat...sure was nice way to do it!
Beautiful July 4th sunset right outside our deck.
Noah caught his first "huge" fish with Grace and Addy looking on. It was fun to watch his expressions as the bobber went down and he kept saying "I feel it!"
Noah and Grace spent hours upon hours at the beach. Grace was way too busy to go to the bathroom so she announced very loudly to me "Mom look I'm going potty", as pee is running down her leg next to the other kids. A few parents were startled but most had their own doing the same thing!
Grace liked the noodles and especially whacking her brother with it.

Our small group was in charge of serving at the BBQ for church and the kids in our group set up a kool-aid stand to bless all the kids there. They poured kool-aid, carried glasses to tables, handed out suckers and fruit snacks and drank a lot of kool-aid! It was a great day for the kids and a fun way for them to follow Jesus's humble example of him coming to serve and not to be served.
Grace and her flowers she takes care of!
Check out those chubby legs! I have to peel back the layers to wash him up.
Noah used his birthday money to buy himself a slip-n-slide and he spent hours on it!

Proud big sister!
Pool fun wrestling usually!
Noah turns the big 6 years old with a pirate party and camping out!
Noah and Grace ready for their camp out with the girls keeping watch of course.
I don't know how many smores Grace ate but the picture doesn't do justice to how messy she was.

Summer Fun

Grace was so excited when the tulips came up! She has taken a great interest in becoming the flowers caretaker. Who needs toys when she rather care for her flowers!
Josiah smiling as usual!
Noah's Kindergarten graduation with Nana and Pepa!

Noah's teachers Mrs. West and Mrs. Klun. Great teachers!

Oh Grace!

So today as Josiah took a nap and the kids watched a veggie tales movie I decided to do something adult like and read. Well being that I've been sleep deprived lately for the past month I fell asleep for a few minutes and this is what I woke up to! Grace helped herself to a "big" bag of carrots and took a marker and colored all over her face!
After the marker incident I've been thinking all day of the times that I've caught her in the act or stumbled upon her doing something crazy so thought I'd reminisce a bit of good old Grace.
Here she is recently climbing up the window as I walked into the kitchen to find her there.
Oh and here she is only 1 and a half and again to my surprise I found her on top of the counter. She climbed up the knobs on the drawers and was desperate for the car keys after we told her "no" a million times and after she set the car alarm off to wake up all the neighbors.
I guess she wasn't done eating pizza so she went outside on the back deck and got the box and proceeded to eat the crumbs. Oh we love our sweet Grace!

Caught in the act with the sugar jar! Not only climbed up on the stove to get above the stove to a shelf but got it down and had sugar all over herself! Just where is her mother anyway when all this suff happens?
This is an old picture of Grace but very typical of her. Find whatever you like to wear for dress up, pack your pack back of whatever you can find add a hat and your set for the day.

Josiah turns 4 months

Josiah trying out the Johnny Jump Up for the first time.
I think he likes it!
Here he is trying so hard to get that foot in his mouth...
And he finally got it!
